Łódź Fabryczna Railway Station, Poland
In December 2016, one of the biggest and most modern railway stations in Poland, and third biggest public transportation hub in Europe was officially opened. We are proud to inform, that the three-storey, vast building of Łódź Fabryczna Railway Station, was equipped with TOA’s voice evacuation system.
Using non-standard and customized solutions, such as HX-5 modular speaker systems, enabled us to achieve an excellent level of speech intelligibility, even under the challenging acoustic conditions of the building's interiors. An additional challenge successfully met by the contractors was the integration of TOA's VES with GEMOS building management system, along with the station's travelers information system.
Łódź Fabryczna Railway Station consists of two interconnected buildings: a bus station with a multi-level underground car park, and a train station. The sound reinforcement system of all areas is based on TOA's VX-2000 and speaker series: BS-680FC, F-2000 and SC-630M.
